Election
November Election
For the first time in many years, an uptick in the state economy and sound planning by our elected officials have resulted in fully funded public education and an ability to look toward the future. This Nov. 4, CSEA is supporting a number of candidates who are longtime friends to classified school employees and have the ability to keep things moving in the right direction.
Assistance Fund
Disaster relief available to members affected by fires
Whenever you need us, CSEA is here. The raging fires in Northern California have already impacted some of our members, their homes and the communities they serve. In response to these devastating fires, Association President Michael Bilbrey has made emergency assistance funds available to affected members.

Not Just Teachers: Supporting Students’ Success
Association President Michael Bilbrey for the U.S. Dept of Education Blog:
As summer ends and the school year begins, we often think about teachers and students heading back to school. While teachers prepare lessons and students learn new concepts we can’t forget the service employees who provide support that enable the schools to run efficiently.

Classified Employees
Classified employees are the backbone of education
In the modern age, school districts could not function without classified school employees. These essential staff members perform a wide range of vital services for students, parents, teachers and administrators. This extraordinary workforce keeps our campuses safe, clean and organized. Most importantly, they strive to improve the lives of our students every day.

CSEA is proud to announce that it is now accepting applications for the Member Trainers’ Bureau. The Member Trainers’ Bureau (MTB) is an appointed volunteer leadership position. As a member of the MTB, you will be certified to deliver trainings to members in your region, area, and in some cases other parts of the state.
