CSEA Chapter 18 Scholarship for 2017 – APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED

The CSEA Chapter #18 Scholarship Award Program provides financial assistance to dependent children of members in good standing, helping many continue their education after high school.

Fully completed applications with composition and appropriate documentation attached must be submitted by the March 3, 2017 deadline. This is a wonderful opportunity, open only to the dependent children of our own CSEA Chapter 18 members.

CSEA resolution supports safe zones for students

In February, the CSEA Board of Directors passed a resolution entitled “CSEA Supports Public Schools as Safe Zones for all of California’s Students.” The Board of Directors encourages CSEA chapters to print and post it at their school/work sites as a symbol of CSEA’s commitment to keeping students safe.

Since 1986, California has taken the third week in May to honor the invaluable contributions of classified school employees. This year, CSEW will be celebrated May 21-27.


CSEA presents M&O Academy

CSEA's Maintenance & Operations Academy provides participants with important workplace health and safety information as well as prepare them to better protect themselves, their coworkers and students against workplace hazards.
