In 2012, we also invited our school transportation workers. Examples of classes that were offered specifically for Transportation workers include: Distracted Driving, CHP Approved Stops, Transportation Issues & Contract Negotiations, Bus Evacuation & Safety Procedures, School Bus Signals, Air Brakes, School Bus Meeting and Passing, Strategies for working with Special Needs Students, Pupil Management and more.

Going Green
Many schools and communities are implementing Green initiatives. And those that aren't yet will be. Our members can be leaders in this movement. To help attendees begin to think about what role they play in turning our communities green, we include important green schools initiatives information to provide a safer and more environmentally sound work environment as well as a quality educational arena for students.
