CSEA offers insurance at a group rate
A reminder that CSEA has changed administrators on the voluntary Life, Accidental Death, In-hospital, Dental and Vision group insurance plans to Marsh US Consumer, effective October 1st.
Any currently enrolled members in the life, AD&D or in-hospital plans should realize a decrease in premium (unless moving to a new level of benefit); however payroll deduction is no longer an option on the plans. Participants have received direct communication from Marsh outlining all the various options available from this point forward.
Dental and Vision Plan premium notices for the month of October were billed last week.
Life, Accidental Death, and In-hospital plans for the month of October will be billed this week.
All current participants will have through October 31st to make payment on October premium now due.
Of course we welcome all interested members in any of the programs to call for more information as well!
Any questions regarding coverage or concerns about bills should be directed to our new administrator Marsh US Consumer at (877) 492-3862.

Free Medicine Foundation
If you do not have insurance or a government program that pays for your outpatient prescription medicines. Or, if the high cost of your Medicine causes you a financial hardship, you may qualify to enroll in a privately sponsored program which provides your MEDICINE for FREE!
Free Medicine Foundation's staff and volunteers facilitate access to programs that have been available for the last 50 years helping people to save or eliminate their prescription medicine costs. And it's not just poor people who qualify for assistance. With each medication, the income criteria varies from below the poverty level up to $80,000 for a family of four.
The Free Medicine Foundation has helped countless families across the nation completely eliminate or substantially reduce their prescription drug bills. These programs can provide an ongoing lifetime supply of free medication. For a small one-time processing fee of $10 for each prescription drug requested, Free Medicine Foundation will help coordinate free drug distribution to eligible applicants. Leading drug sponsors have pledged, "No patient in need of medicines will do without them."
